The boyfriend.
I have no idea what I did to deserve him.

Why do I love him? Let me see..

He rescues me from spiders,
always makes me laugh,
I can stuff my face in front of him free of judgement,
doesn't mind sharing the bed with Gatsby,
is one of the most generous, caring people I know,
he loves his family... and mine
he looks pretty darn cute holding my niece,
he is handsome, supportive,
doesn't make fun of my terrible math skills,
takes care of me when I'm sick or hurt and whiny,
he listens to me and remembers the little things,
but most importantly - he lets me be myself and loves me for it.

I am the proud mom of Gatsby (AKA Monster), a 4 year old Plott Hound/Greyhound/Mutt mix.

I was in college, living in a little apartment and NOT looking for a dog when I saw this little guy.
He and his sisters were found in a box on the side of the highway and after about an hour of "just holding him" I realized that I couldn't go home without him. Four years later and he is still the center of my universe. Gatsby has been with me through all the ups and downs and I couldn't imagine life without him. He is a bedhog, couchhog and eating machine, but I love him dearly.

I have a smart, beautiful and loving sister who also happens to be my best friend and #1 fan.

...who will probably kill me because of that last picture.
It sums us up perfectly, though.

I also have her to thank for the sweetest baby niece in the history of nieces.

Not that I'm biased or anything...

And to top it all off, I have amazing friends that I wouldn't trade for the world.

What can I say - I'm a lucky girl.
